EuroCucine in Milan on April 17 – 22, 2012 will see the launch of the new EO range from Effeti. These 81 cm high base cabinets have a 20 mm door with smooth groove and upper edge 40 degree cutoff for easy door opening. This first version will be available in aluminium or lacquered with matt finish only. EO will be available in a selection of neutral colours based on the latest Florentine trends.

This exceptional design will offer a more affordable solution from Effeti, without any compromise on quality. It is an integrated system which can work in combination with other Effeti ranges. Offering a simple and aesthetically smooth product platform, EO will be developed to offer a whole system of accessories.

The new 2012 collections from SCP were well received at Maison & Objet, Paris in late January and their stand looked stunning. The Press and Wholesale open day for the UK Launch of the new 2012 Collection is on Friday 2nd March, and the event will continue for the whole weekend.

Arredo3Cucine

Functional and practical design incorporating superb finishes and fine detail, Arredo3Cucine kitchen furniture collections – classic and contemporary – offer a kitchen solution for all. The brand is also an affordable solution; Arredo3 Aurora with Corian worktops shown above on display at Leeds can be purchased through Michael Wright at around four thousand pounds plus VAT excluding appliances.

V-Zug

Innovation, outstanding quality, sustainability and longevity are all synonymous with the V-Zug brand. V-Zug has been producing premium Swiss quality household appliances for decades and the renowned V-Zug combination steam oven will soon be on display at Leeds.

Launch Event Success

The launch event at the stunning new Michael Wright showroom above Bang & Olufsen in Leeds was a great success – over 100 guests enjoyed a relaxed evening in stunning surroundings, against a backdrop of extraordinary nail art and sculptures from Marcus Levine. The upstairs showroom is a unique environment and many of our guests commented on the creation of the perfect living space with such a luxurious feel. The showroom blends the exquisite lines of Effeti kitchens with exclusive new to the UK Swiss V-ZUG appliances, surrounded by beautiful, stylish SCP furniture pieces and Bang & Olufsen in-house entertainment, including a dedicated BeoLiving cinema room.

Michael and his Cycling!

Last year Michael and his son Eli, together with other Dads and sons from Belmont Grosvenor School, took part in the Great Yorkshire bike ride from Wetherby to Filey, which is 72 miles to cycle in a day! Michael persuaded his local GP to go along too – useful in case of any mishaps’ Michael is seen regularly training on the roads of North Yorkshire scaring the motorists in his shorts! It’s all for an excellent cause however, as the charity Michael supports is Martin House Children’s Hospice.This year Michael will be taking part in the Way of the Roses, Britain’s newest ‘coast-to-coast’ cycle route. The Way of the Roses route runs for 170 well signed miles between Morecambe on Lancashire’s Irish Sea coast and Bridlington on Yorkshire’s North Sea coast. It passes through the historic cities of York and Lancaster, and lesser known gems such as Settle, Pateley Bridge and Ripon. It’s a challenging, but rewarding cycle! Good luck Michael!

NOW IN OUR SHOWROOM – THE CITRUS WISHBONE

Carl Hansen produce furniture of unique design, exquisitely hand crafted and of unsurpassed quality. One of the most famous design collaborations is between Carl Hansen and Hans J Wegner, often described as the “chair-maker of chair makers”. Wegner is best known for the legendary Wishbone Chair, which celebrated it’s 60th anniversary with a beautiful new colour palette. A chair first produced in 1950, the wishbone has held its’ design credentials and remains a highly desired piece for the home. The Wishbone is a light sculptural dining chair that is also suitable for relaxed sitting away from the table and features a seat hand woven in paper cord.

We are featuring part of the stunning Citrus Wishbone range at Bang & Olufsen, Leeds, as well as our Blubberhouses showroom.
